I love all your day to day comments (especially about your MOM) as much as I love reading the recipes. Just starting on Gluten free by choice, and wanting to learn all I can. I know your Mom (love her) and she warned me about your sense of humor and her lack of cooking ability!!! hehehehe

My husband and I and another couple tried the restaurant for the first time last night. We Will Not Go Back! The food was absolutely terrible! The worst Mexican food we have ever had. The service was OK, a little slow, but the food tasted like it had been made earlier, frozen, and then reheated. The food was so bad (slimy wet tortillas, burnt dried out beef in tacos, tacos only came with meat and lettuce, tiny little taco shells, tacos did not come as ordered with cheese and tomatoes and no ones food tasted very good). All four of us only took a few bites of food and did not finish our plates. We certainly did not want doggy bags. When leaving the tricky soap dispenser, sewer gas smelling, womens bathroom, I encountered another lady that said they would not come back either because the food was bad. As we were leaving they started in with music, but not Mexican music. When in a Mexican restaurant, one expects Mexican music. If we wanted to go to a nightclub, we would have done just that. Upon exiting, we all wondered if we were going to get sick later from the few bites of food that we had eaten. What a Shame, a very cute restaurant, but terrible food. We will Not Go Back there, and . . . We Will Spread the Word.
